In today's Gospel, Jesus comes across as a bit harsh. He discourages those who would become his disciples. "Let the dead bury their own dead." "Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no where to lay his head." But as he makes his way to Jerusalem, he is very clear that to follow him will cost us everything!
